Always push yourself and get better!

Get to know me

I want to live my life with passion and do the things I love with the fire from my heart. Wild nature is my preferred playground for powerful turns and creative moves – that’s what drives me, no matter the surface! High jumps, radical turns, endless sessions. My pulse? Always racing. Which gear? Any board will do. My goal? To push boundaries – mine and the sport’s.

Growing up in Zurich without a real home spot for windsurfing, I became an all-around outdoor sports enthusiast. I carry the deepest love for our mountains, where I love to spend time, when I am at home in the Swiss alps. As windsurfing in the waves captured my heart from day one and never let go, I adventure the world to find the jewels of waveriding to decorate nature with my style of art.

My Profession

Fascinated by the interaction of materials, the efficiency of processes and the creation of outstanding synergies, I immersed myself in the world of engineering. Eager to develop innovative solutions, I became a mechanical engineer with specification on materials and processes at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW).

After completing my studies, I spent four years in research and development at the Laboratory for Process Engineering at ZHAW. There, I led a major project from inception to completion while also contributing to various smaller research initiatives. My engineering expertise spans material development, advanced process design, coatings and polymer technology, material testing and many more. Additionally, I played an active role in securing and executing research collaborations as well managing projects. You want to learn more about my technical background? My Passions

Windsurfing

I started windsurfing as a teenager on Lago di Como in northern Italy. I don’t have a home spot, just occasional freestyle sessions on a few choppy Swiss lakes. I’ve structured my life to spend time at wave spots by working as a water sports instructor before studying. Later I was working 80% as an engineer to be able to sail in waves a couple of weeks every year.

European coastlines offer diverse wave conditions, from side-onshore to side-offshore winds and both starboard and port tack setups. This has made progress slow, but I’ve become a versatile rider. I spent a lot of time in Portugal, making starboard tack my go-to. Unfortunately, competitions often have port tack conditions, so I spent the winter of 2024/25 in Western Australia to fill the gap.

Now, I’ve built the perfect foundation to refine my skills in all conditions – executing loops and aerials. My goal is to throw down the biggest moves in any conditions. Are you ready to hit the water together?

Skiing

As a Swiss girl, I was practically born with skis on my feet. This passion runs deep! As a teenager, I spent countless hours in the backcountry and park before training and working as a Swiss Snowsports Ski Instructor after gymnasium to refine my alpine skills.

I love freeriding and touring—choosing my line on a wild mountain face, dropping cliffs, and throwing down a trick is pure freedom. My rolling garage holds seven types of skis, ready for any style or condition.

General Watersports

I love water! As a teenager, I did a lot of kayaking and was part of the Swiss national women’s team for canoe polo. Seeking wind and waves, I learned to surf and kitesurf—my gear always travels with me in my van! During my studies, I spent quite some time landlocked in Switzerland, which led me to add wakeboarding and all kinds of foiling to my list of favorite activities at home.
